Engineered wood is more frequently pre-finished, has beveled edges, is very rarely site-finished, and is installed with glue or as a floating installation. This allows it to be used in all applications whether it be nail down, glue down or floating. Engineered wood can be installed over radiant floor heating safely with both the glue down and floating applications. Overall it is a much more structurally sound material and handles climate, temperature and moisture change much better than solid woods.
Engineered wood flooring has other benefits beyond dimensional stability and universal use. Additionally, patented installation systems allow for faster installation and easy replacement of boards.

Working with Coriey and Frank was fantastic. The way that Coriey’s sales and estimating process was totally different and made us feel educated and that they were totally transparent. Frank came in and did the job from beginning to end and superbly done. The leveling bill was an unexpected extra but we knew going in that it could happen and we knew we needed to for the structural integrity of the floor. We really appreciate being treated as a home instead of a job site. Highly recommend this company

Coriey, Lacey and the Floor Envy team went over the top. They handled every little detail, came in on time, and kept me updated throughout the whole project. I can’t recommend them enough. We had our full kitchen re-done as well as painting and floor lamination. Thanks Coriey and Lacey:)
